Do you love to sing?
Are you looking for a new and sociable hobby?
We are running a FREE six week ‘Love to Sing’ course from 7.45pm to 9.15pm on Thursdays, starting on 29th October. We offer a warm welcome to ladies of all ages and you don’t need to read music!
The course will be in the Village Hall, ExtraCare Shenley Wood Village, Milton Keynes, MK5 6GJ, where we normally rehearse on Thursday evenings.

Our show on 13th June, Voices of Summer, was a great hit and if you weren’t there you missed a treat! We were joined by many friends whose excellent performances helped us make it a great success, as well as lots of volunteers behind the scenes, managing us all, doing the technical stuff, selling raffle tickets and generally making sure that everybody had a good time (us included!). We are really grateful to everyone who shared the evening with us, supporters and audience alike, and we’re even thinking of doing another one sometime – we just need to recover from this one first!
We really enjoyed singing to an enthusiastic family audience on Sunday 12th April, when we helped celebrate a batch of birthdays. Our Chair, Gill, asked us to sing at her dad’s 90th birthday party – and for good measure we sang to her mum and her niece for their birthdays too.
Please get in touch if you’d like us to sing for your birthday boys and girls – we’d be delighted!!
We were delighted to be asked to sing at the wedding of our very own bass, Lyn Kirkbright, a long time chorus member. After a lovely ceremony in the United Reformed Church in Newport Pagnell we all retired to the church hall where we sang our hearts out in Lyn and Eddie’s honour!
Eight Junction 14 members were privileged to sing as an octet at the wedding of Emily, daughter of one of our baritones, Jacky, back in February. Here they are in all their glamour with proud mother of the bride at the centre!
On Saturday 21st March we were privileged to sing for Toddington Music Society. We really appreciated the warm welcome we were given, and we had a great evening. A special treat was the performance by our home grown quartet: Anagram, who performed two songs beautifully. Here is a picture of a few of us warming up ready to perform!
Junction 14 were honoured to be surprise guests as a live singing analogy at an event to celebrate Alice’s time as Chair of Scope.
It was a day to remember!!!
